Coming Soon

It’s been a journey to come this far. My heart is singing with joy when I see how everything is patiently coming together, and not a moment too soon.

I’m happy and proud to report that the website is … well, perfect to my taste. Yes, I still have a couple of ideas that I will implement over time. And surely, as new books keep arriving — you know, like babies: who knows where they appear from? — there will be necessary changes.

What I hope is that to you, dear reader, it will be immediately clear what kind of books I’m offering and especially which of them are already available and which are coming soon. I was considering whether to only list the books that are already written — but then I learned that it’s difficult to say just when exactly a book is complete. When it’s published and accessible to readers, sure. But there are other measures.

I have two 500-pages sci-fi novels written, but they are still first drafts. I know now that a lot of work will go into editing before I can make them publically available. Then again, I will offer segments and chapters to my advanced readers team — so get ready, ART, and express your willingness to participate, please, so I can find you.

I’m using coming soon progress bars on the website to illustrate how far along books are. There is no due date set, because, you know, it’s hard to balance so many projects as it is. I’ll follow the flow and listen to my innermost voice, telling me what to work on and finish next. And I’ll keep you posted here on the blog, so you can track and understand the whole process if you want to.

This week, my focus is on formatting the e-books that will go out for free when you subscribe to my newsletter. I’m testing a new tool, Jutoh, and I quite like it so far. I think I’m going to go with it. I formatted Sen, Sanja, and the Cube of Runes yesterday, and now onto to Ink by Star’s Orion. I’ll leave The Snowflake for last. More on formatting e-books in my next blog.
